1st day

Arrival in São Luis – please inform you arrival time.

Transfer airport/ Hotel.

Check-in “Grand São Luis Hotel / Calhau Praia Hotel / Hotel Brisamar” or similar.

If your arrival is early, you can enjoy the city tour through the historic city center - tour not yet included.

Overnight in São Luis city.

 

2nd day

07h00 - Minibus Shuttle to Barreirinhas (4 hours) with a stop to take a coffe.

12h00 - check-in at “pousada Buriti / pousada do Rio” or similar.

14h00 – trip to a National Park of “Lençóis Maranhenses” with a group in a 4x4, to visit the region of “lagoa Azul” – you will stay there at sunset

Overnight in Barreirinhas.

 

3rd day

08h30 – Free-floating tubing down Cardoza river – river with a nice and clean water – come back to Barreirinhas approximately 13h00min.

14h00 – trip to a National Park of “Lençóis Maranhenses” with a group in a 4x4, to visit the second region – “lagoa Bonita” – you will stay there at sunset

Overnight in Barreirinhas.

 

4th day

08h30 - Cruise down Preguicas river on a fast motorboat, visiting the village of Vassouras (dunes), Mandacaru (light house), and Atins (beach), where you will take a lunch and sleep.

12h00 – check-in “pousada do Irmão” / “pousada Vila Jurará” or similar

Free afternoon - there is the option to take the birdwatching tour - you must check availability with the staff of your lodging - tour not included.

Overnight in Atins beach.

 

5th day

Free morning - there is the optional tour of the Lençóis Maranhenses National Park in the region of "Lagoa da Capivara" and others - duration of approx 3 hours. In the return visit to the village of "Canto da Atins" and you will visit the famous shrimp barbecue restaurant (not included). You should check availability with the staff of your lodging.

14h00 return to boat to come back to Barreirinhas

Overnight in Barreirinhas in “pousada Buriti / pousada do Rio” or similar.

 

6th day

08h00 – expedition in 4x4 car to Santo Amaro city , around 2,5 hours in sand tracks , and you will visit the villages of “Betânia” and “Espigão” that are village that are around the dunes region.

11h00 – check-in “pousada Água Doce” / “pousada Rancho das Dunas” or similar.

15h00 – come back to 4x4 car to visit the national park in the region of “lagoa da Gaivota” – you will be there to sunset time.

Overnight in Santo Amaro city.

 

7th day

08h00 – trip with fast motorboat on the lake Santo Amaro crossing a region with mangrove to reach the region of “lagoa da América” in the national park – you will return aroun 13h00.

15h00 – you will leave santo Amaro city in 4x4 car to village of “Sangue”. In “Sangue” you will make a conection with minibus to come back to São Luis – you will arrive in São Luis aroun 21h00.

Overnight in São Luis city..

 

8th day

Transfer hotel/airport – please inform your departure time.
